Each of the 17 individually decorated rooms and suites is named after a character associated with the village of Purton. For example, Anne Hyde, the mother of Queen Mary and Queen Anne, James Kibblewhite the runner, Nevil Maskelyne the Astronomer Royal and EH Budd the cricketer.
All the rooms have private bathrooms with showers; many have spa baths. They also have direct dial telephones, digital television with teletext, ducks, hairdryer, trouser press, safes, CD radio and free Wi-Fi, Kettle Trays, fresh fruit and home-made shortbread.
Rates
Prices per room for overnight accommodation, single or double occupancy and inclusive of newspaper, full Wiltshire breakfast and VAT, are given below.
Standard rooms - £119.00
Four-poster and Executive rooms - £149.00
Suites - £149.00 - £200.00
Some rooms are large enough to accommodate a Z bed or a cot for small children. For a Z bed there is a charge of £26.00 per child per night, and for a cot £15.00. Breakfast is included in the rate, lunch and dinner for children will be charged as taken.
We are currently offering a special weekend rate of £320.00 per couple sharing a Standard room. The price is for two nights and includes a four-course dinner each night. Executive rooms with spa baths are £365.00 per couple. Please go to our special offers page for more offers.
