Dog Friendly Hotel with Local Walks in Wiltshire near J16 M4.
Looking for somewhere to bring your dog? The Pear Tree near Swindon in Wiltshire is delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs.
The hotel is set in 7.5 acres, and there are walks of up to a mile from the back of the hotel through woods and over streams without crossing over any roads. By crossing one small country road, there are much longer walks for the fitter and keener dogs and owners.
Dogs are provided with a bowl, welcome chews, and a large bottle of mineral water. We now supply a bath towel per dog, in case they find the lily pond or wetlands and go swimming !
Sadly Jake, who was the resident Springer Spaniel is no longer with us, but we still have a few dogs that are around the hotel on a regular basis. Smudge, our assistant gardener, helps Jeff regularly. Bramble is sometimes allowed to visit, but Willow, her puppy, is yet to join the gardening team !
